Novosoft Releases Backup Software for IBM Lotus Servers

October 1, 2009

Novosoft, one of the leading providers of software backup solutions, releases the new version of their flagship product Handy Backup, now validated as "Ready for IBM Lotus".

Alliance, Ohio, October 1, 2009 – Novosoft, an international IT-consulting and software development company, today announced the release of a new backup solution for IBM Lotus servers, now with the "Ready for IBM Lotus" technical certification. The certification designates that Handy Backup has met all compatibility specifications established by IBM, and further reinforces the utility as people's first choice in Lotus backup software.

Handy Backup and Handy Backup Server were among the first professional tools on the market designed to back up Lotus Domino/Notes data. Now, as they have officially validated against the latest versions of IBM Lotus software, enterprises that choose IBM technologies are enabled to protect their data at a new level of quality.

"Our company has become an IBM Premier Partner long ago, and we are excited to strengthen our relationship with the new product," said Alexander Prichalov, head of Novosoft product department. "The certification not only shows our competence in IBM technologies, but also affords an additional proof how investments in R&D can help a program become one of the most popular solutions in its market."

The "Ready for IBM Lotus" validation program was designed by IBM to ensure customers that the validated software has met explicit standards of quality and end-to-end compatibility with IBM Lotus software, which was confirmed through strict quality assessment given by IBM experts.
